El Foukr R'Assembly

Collaboration

We met up with the lovely band El Foukr R'Assembly in the beautiful country Algeria. Their style of music is a mixture of North African and Haussa/Tuareg music, an interesting and unique sound.
Sat at the end of a pier we sang a sorrowful song about a living soul trying to pass on a message to their father who unfortunately had already passed away. We really enjoyed our time with them and was great to collaborate with such delightful people.

Sofitel

Gig

An interesting gig we had here in Algeria. Sat by the pool there were lots of lovely people drinking their cocktails and having a wail of a time and It was great to connect with the audience. Took a minute but we got there in the end.

A country with three different main languages and surprising open-mindedness. Good vibes all around and a great introduction for this part of the Total World Tour. Thanks for all who attended, we hope you enjoyed it. Here are some pictures from the night…..

SIDRA Association

Charity

We visited a wonderful charity called SIDRA Association which have various projects and workshops such as helping the young succeed through education, visits to hospitals, promoting peace, waste management to save the environment and also supplying food to poorer families. One of the projects they're currently working on is called “A school bag for the future”.

With the help of volunteers, they prepare the necessary supplies in order to fill the school bags so that they can be distributed to children from poorer families, living in the most isolated regions of Algeria. It is an initiative that is to promote quality education in Algeria and help the poorest to have the right conditions and basic needs for their education.

Whilst we were there we saw how they prepared and filled the school bags and we also met some of the lovely people who ran these the workshops.
